About The Role

Finfare is looking for an experienced VP of Sales to support our various SaaS products.As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts and driving revenue growth through strategic planning, effective team leadership, and relentless execution. You will play a critical role in expanding our customer base, establishing strategic partnerships, and scaling our sales operations to capitalize on market opportunities. We are looking for someone with a successful track record with generating new business opportunities, building our customer base, and creating strong, lasting relationships with partners as a trusted resource. An ideal candidate will have experience working in a fintech setting with strong B2B/B2B2C experience with selling business cards/credit products, and/or payment processing.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue generation through direct sales efforts, strategic partnerships, and channel development.
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to penetrate new markets and segments, leveraging competitive intelligence and market insights.
Customer Acquisition and Retention: Implement effective sales processes and customer acquisition strategies to attract, convert, and retain key customers.
Performance Management: Establish KPIs, metrics, and sales targets for the team, continuously monitoring performance and optimizing strategies to maximize results.
Partnership Development: Cultivate and manage relationships with strategic partners, resellers, and key stakeholders to enhance market presence and drive revenue growth.
Sales Operations: Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and resource allocation.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success to align strategies and achieve company-wide objectives.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape, offering actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Requirements

10+ years of solution selling experience with a strong network of contacts; ideally in business cards/credit products, payment processing, merchant-funded rewards, card-linked offers or loyalty solutions.
Experience within the fintech industry is highly desirable.
Ability to proactively engage new clients through various communication channels.
A high sense of urgency that can adapt and pivot in various conversation flows.
A team-player attitude with a desire to improve internal processes beyond your day-to-day tasks.
A desire to learn, grow, and get in on the ground floor of a unicorn startup while launching your career in fintech sales.
Demonstrated sales success, leadership, and commercial insight.
Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the fintech industry.
Strong understanding of financial services, payments, or related sectors.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for driving results.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $220K - $270k+ (depending on experience) + OTE (uncapped commission).
