About the Role

Over the years, FROM has become an extremely successful company (growing over 60% in 2021 and 2022) mostly through client referrals. With the recent investment from Trivest and the acquisition of Algoworks, FROM has reached the point in its evolution where we wish to take advantage of the tremendous market opportunities that exist but are currently untapped through our current sales and marketing strategies.

We are seeking a highly experienced CRO with an IT Services background to help FROM develop and optimize a sales and marketing engine that drives sustainable revenue growth for the long term. The CRO would join the senior ranks of FROM’s executive management team and report directly to the Global CEO, Howard Tiersky, and the Board of Directors.

The CRO will be a natural leader and “doer”, capable of driving initiatives forward in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment that is laser focused on client service, operational execution, and growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead both the sales and marketing departments (for both FROM and Algoworks)

Promote a culture of high performance, metrics-driven KPI reporting, and accountability

Initially, leveraging the existing sales and marketing assets to generate consistent qualified leads on a weekly basis (first priority), and over time recommending the highest ROI sales and marketing investments to the Board of Directors (second priority)

Integrate the ~25 person sales and marketing team from recently acquired Algoworks to function as one team together with FROM’s existing account executives. The CRO will lead the organizational design of both sales and marketing teams.

Lead the cross-selling efforts of newly acquired engineering capabilities to FROM’s existing client base by understanding and breaking down barriers
Unify and integrate sales and marketing teams from future acquisitions

Optimize the firm’s existing marketing strategies and developing new marketing channels, including:

Gartner and Forrester coverage and assessing ROI
Conferences, events, tradeshows, and webinars

Developing (over time) a highly successful outbound sales team and strategy, including:

Recruiting dedicated outbound sales reps (over time)
Strategies for FROM to participate in more RFPs
Strategies to retain and grow existing clients
Tracking performance and topgrading the sales team as necessary

Developing KPIs around how top-of-the-funnel pipeline is growing, qualified pipeline is building, and deal are converting over time.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate must demonstrate utmost integrity as a key member and contributor to this entrepreneurial team. The CRO must be able to envision getting from "current to future state”, while being comfortable running lean and leveraging existing assets while building and constantly recommending new strategies to drive sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

Former CRO of an IT Services company (preferably digital transformation, such as software product design or software engineering)
Experience with unifying GTM strategies involving services with short (engineering) and long (wholistic digital transformation) sales cycles
Prior experience with integrating sales and marketing teams and strategies as a result of transformational M&A
Prior experience in building an outbound sales team and strategy from the ground up
Experience in a PE-backed environment

Other Requirements

This position would be remote based. FROM works in a fully remote capacity but travel to NYC will be required on an as-needed basis
