Job Description:

As Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, you will work closely with the Founder of Future Gen. The Founder will trust you for the sales and marketing direction for our first product launch; creation and execution of Go-to-market; identify the exact resources necessary to put plans into action; and oversee the entire process from start to finish (MVP and beyond).

As our Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer, you will be a hybrid strategist, leader, and executor. Your role will be to build and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for our first product, working closely with other teams and leadership. You will be responsible for driving revenue through a combination of strategic partnerships, sales, and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Go-to-Market Strategy & Implementation: Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for our first product, including the creation and implementation of a tactical plan for marketing and sales.
Strategic Partnerships: Foster partnerships with high school districts for a free product for their students, with a preference for schools in the King County or Pierce County areas in WA state. The platform is built to be location agnostic. Our team has built a very deep network that could be leveraged in the preferred locations.
Customer Relations: Discover, build, and develop customer relations with employers and parents, utilizing your exceptional relationship management skills.
Gen Z Engagement: You can leverage your understanding of Gen Z to engage with them on their preferred social platforms, such as Tik Tok and Instagram.
Marketing Material Production: Build videos and supplementary marketing materials for conferences and other promotional opportunities.
Sales Support: Support or lead sales pitch decks for clients and partnerships, demonstrating excellent presentation and persuasion skills.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the edtech, hrtech, worktech, or future of work industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing a go-to-market strategy.
Experience in building and fostering strategic partnerships, particularly within the education sector.
Strong understanding of Gen Z culture and engagement strategies.
Proficiency in building marketing materials and creating engaging content for various platforms.
Exceptional presentation skills with experience in leading sales pitches.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
