Position: - Director, Sales Operations

Summary:

Sales Operations to lead, uplift and develop an industry leading sales operations function supporting both the wholesale subsea and managed services business. This is a transformational opportunity for a highly successful individual with a strong background in sales operations, reporting and process management to take on a high-profile leadership role and scale a critical path organization to enable GCX’s growth ambitions. The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the prospect to order process spanning transactional and complex sales cycles and products across both direct and indirect channels.

Responsibilities:

Lead the sales operations function and deliverables for the wholesale subsea and managed services business
Refine, implement and own the prospect to order process E2E
Work with IT, finance and operations to properly leverage GCX’s CRM (currently SFDC), to create frictionless process between handoffs, data flow and integrity
Provide standard reporting such as pipelines, close rates, churn, cycle time, attainment, campaigns and productivity
Be able to provide ad hoc reporting and become a trusted business partner and advisor to the CRO and sales leaders as necessary to support business management needs
Assist CRO and MD Managed Services in developing, managing and messaging sales compensation plans, campaigns and SPIFFs
Identify and manage KPI’s that will create sales efficiency and measure sales effectiveness
Build and scale out team within business growth constraints
Support all regional sales leaders on ad hoc requests and develop tools that provide them greater transparency into their businesses
Constantly refine, improve and implement best practices across the prospect to order value chai driving enhanced visibility, efficiency and overall improvements in sales productivity

Experience:

8-10 years minimum overall experience in any or multiple of sales, product, sales operations/support roles

2-4 years minimum sales operations experience

Technical/Functional Skills:

In-depth understanding of the prospect to order sales cycle
Experience with utilizing and implementing a CRM in a multi-functional process
