We are currently looking for a Sales Operations Manager who will work closely with senior leadership of the company to support data analytics needs. This individual will provide leaders with analysis and insights to support timely decisions, solve sales and operational challenges, and ultimately drive more revenue for the business. This role requires a business-oriented mindset, but also technical capabilities that showcase your understanding of how the health of our business improves sales effectiveness. You will be responsible for analyzing data from various sources and organizing it to support key performance metrics, sales productivity efforts. We believe sales operations is a key catalyst in driving revenue through insightful data.

Granicus is a remote first company. While we have virtual teams, you have the option for in-office work should you be located near one of our hubs.

Who you are:

- You have a keen understanding and ability to effectively organize and analyze sales data, create reports, present findings, and make recommendations for improvements
- You love creating and enhancing sales forecasts, pipeline and performance reports
- You have a knack for analyzing large datasets and making sense of them in order to find operational improvements and build/structure for sale
- You understand that strategic thinking for SaaS revenue operations and strong execution management are fundamental to your success

What you will do:

- You will enable our team to meet and exceed revenue targets through effective data management of the metrics and key performance indicators that drive our business
- You will maintain weekly sales forecast and manage the delivery of an accurate sales pipeline and precise bookings forecast by month, quarter, and year across all products, sales channels, and geographies worldwide
- You will analyze and communicate monthly sales progress against major KPIs; provide areas of improvement
- You will ensure data integrity is maintained cross-functionally by instilling data quality standards across all data related activities
- You will develop bottom up and top-down analyses of market size, penetration, and product mix to help develop territories and whitespace/greenfield opportunities
- You will work cross functionally with marketing, sales, and customer success stakeholders to establish, document, and define business requirements, metrics and KPIs that strengthen our infrastructures, workflows and internal processes
- You will implement SaaS best practices in regard to the Sales Operations team’s reporting and dashboard management
- You will analyze the sales funnel to find bottlenecks in process and increase funnel velocity
- You will engage with the sales org to consistently obtain feedback on systems, processes etc. to improve performance
- You will work closely with the Finance team on annual setting of targets, quotas, etc. and maintaining them throughout the year
- You will work with the Salesforce Admin team to ensure its structure can support enhanced sales productivity reporting and be the “source of truth”
- You will help with Board reporting and ensuring the accuracy of numbers/metrics reported
- Other duties as assigned

What we need from you:

- You will have 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations or another quantitative field in a SaaS business
- You have robust experience organizing, analyzing and reporting on data
- You have a clear understanding of Lead to Cash business process
- You have experience with Salesforce as a power user (standard objects understanding required; custom objects understanding a bonus)
- You have advanced Excel experience
- You are familiar with PowerBI and Clari
- You are a self-starter with ability to see projects through to completion
- You have a strong competency in problem solving and data analysis
- You have previous experience in fast-paced and fast-growing organization
- You are a team-player and are collaborative in nature
