This role is for the Gratia HQ team. You would build and manage the Gratia sales pipeline, from cold calling to email outreach, developing relationships with prospects, and ensuring we are consistently closing deals. We are currently in the process of starting our first partnerships with clients, but we have more than 100 to 200 opportunities in the pipeline, which is only going to grow further. Everything is happening in Excel due to the low number of leads, but we are looking to scale into a CRM tool in the next 2-3 months. This is a manager-level role, which means you will likely be working with some junior talent on the team to help create leverage for your position. The position is currently part-time, at 20 hours a week.

Core Responsibilities:

Sales funnel development: conduct research on target segments, draft outreach, build presentations, prioritize outreach strategy, create lists of all potential leads, find contact information, and reach out to them! This individual will track the sales pipeline, follow up with introductions, and deliver on RFPs and requests for information from prospects.
Project management of CRM implementation: collaborate with the CSO to create a streamlined sales process for new customers that is likely to be digital and low-touch, and puts the prospect at the center of the process. This individual will work with a copywriter, research the most effective outreach strategies for our industry, and then experiment with different approaches to ensure we are driving conversion.
Project management of CRM implementation: this role requires a detail-oriented individual who leads with an answer first, is proactive, and able to troubleshoot potential hiccups that may arise as we implement our first CRM (most likely Pipedrive).
Feedback Maven: this individual loves to pass down the knowledge they have and train more junior team members to be successful. They would be responsible for managing junior Sales Development Analysts and copywriters to ensure the end-to-end lead development process is successful.

Required Skills:

3+ years of sales development experience
Native or fluent English language skills, oral and written
Proven track record of quota attainment, prospecting leads, nurturing them throughout the funnel, and closing new business
Detail-oriented: someone who makes sure that their pipeline is always up to date with the right context
Relentless: someone who is not disheartened by rejection but instead finds it motivating and will problem-solve creative solutions to get to yes
A player and a coach: someone who is happy to cold call themselves, or train a junior team member to do so!
An expert at ambiguity: someone who is willing to jump into a task without explicit instruction and figure out the best way to accomplish the goal
Proactive and curious: someone who approaches the work with an answer-first mindset and asks questions seeking to understand
Fast learner: we are a startup, things move quickly and we are flying the plane while still building the wings!
Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities calmly and proactively communicate if they need assistance
A high degree of ownership: someone who works with a sense of urgency and wants to deliver top-caliber work consistently

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with international companies and clients
Experience working in an asynchronous remote environment
Someone with startup experience who loves to grow through doing!
