About Your Next Opportunity

HTC is seeking an experienced and dynamic AVP of Sales to join our growing team. As the AVP of Sales, you will lead our sales efforts across both B2C and B2B segments, incorporating online and offline sales, and managing our growing network of distributors and resellers. This is an executive-level position reporting directly to the GM, with a primary focus on driving the company's revenue growth.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Sales & Revenue Growth:

Oversee both B2C and B2B sales operations, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Drive online sales through optimizing e-commerce strategies and leveraging digital channels.
Expand offline sales by identifying potential partners and retailers.
Strengthen and grow relationships with distributors, resellers, and strategic partners to maximize reach and profitability.

Market Analysis & Expansion:

Identify emerging market trends and potential areas for expansion.
Understand competitive landscape and devise strategies to stay ahead.

Strategy & Leadership:

Develop and execute an overarching sales strategy that aligns with company objectives.
Lead, motivate, and manage a dynamic sales team across different channels.
Collaborate with senior management to define sales forecasts, budgets, and targets.

Customer & Partner Relationships:

Ensure excellent customer service and post-sales support.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.

Training & Development:

Implement training programs for the sales team to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability.

Reporting & Analytics:

Regularly analyze sales data and metrics to assess performance and refine strategies.
Provide detailed reports on sales performance to the senior management team.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
15+ years of experience selling Hardware and/or Software solutions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated strategic sales success within Global 1000 Accounts. Track record of exceeding quotas, and receiving recognition and awards.
Experience with 3rd Party Distribution.
Experience with B2B and B2C.
Experience in the XR technology sector or related tech industries.
Proven "hunter (new business)" selling skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Experience with and effective execution of a complex, solution-based strategic sales process.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company where change is a constant.
Understands the difference between activity and results; solid work ethic.
Able to function independently, and function collaboratively with team members.
Travel to industry events and in-person meetings within your accounts when needed.
Experience with Salesforce.com, Office 365, Power BI, Teams, and Asana.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)

MBA.

Working Conditions

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Primary work location is indoors.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and long periods of detailed work with VR equipment.
The employee is regularly required to sit.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

At the time of posting, HTC's estimated annual base salary for this position is $190,750 – $234,350 USD. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including candidate skills, qualifications, experience, business needs, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for participation in our discretionary bonus programs.
