Role Mandate

In this role, you are accountable for executing on the tactics of change leadership and making measurable improvement to IIBA’s Engagement & Growth Operations. IIBA’s vision of E&O operations starts with deploying an exceptional program sales team, but extends to learning how to empower 120 chapters, 1200 volunteers, and 600 partners around the world through our enablement programs. This role has two virtual direct reports.

Job Summary

Sales Operations and Leadership of Engagement & Growth Operations (60%)

Manage sales operations and continuously assess the Engagement and Growth team to determine and recommend the annual change initiatives for sales operations with the CEGO and collaborate with Director, Business Development and Growth and Director, Chapter and Member Engagement to ensure operations programs meet IIBA needs.
Build annual sales and chapter plan and performance tracking
Manage inbound lead flow management and sales funnel statistics
Manage sales training and support

Enablement – Channel, Chapter, and Sales Enablement. (10%)

Enable others inside and outside IIBA to LEARN IIBA efficiently by developing a portfolio of easy-to-digest 5-7 minute training assets;
Have a clear call to action which enables IIBA to track results and gain referential leads;
Drive testing of this program with a group of IIBA EEPs and chapter leaders; and,
This is a new program: be creative in evolving, pivoting, testing, and proving the value of the program.

IT and Marketing Liaison (15%)

Become the primary go-between person for engagement and growth portfolio in technology both as a super-user able to instruct our team, and as the lead working with technology leadership to refine and define needs.
Streamlining priorities and communication with marketing

Oversee Corporate and Academic Program Management (10%)

Oversee administration for the academic inbox
Collaborate with marketing on content creation from IIBA that speaks to the success of the effective use of business analysis. This includes developing case studies, and other content that communicates effectively to corporate and academic program members.

Chapter and Program Alignment – One IIBA (5%)

Facilitate opportunities for IIBA Programs, Chapter and Enablement teams to work together by sharing common systems, processes and a vision of how to evolve the IIBA ecosystem.
Foster a chapter and member first attitude at IIBA.
Listen intently to the business analysis subject matter experts of IIBA and synthesize this knowledge for IIBA

Qualifications

Sales Operations: A minimum 5 years experience, preferably with more than one company, in sales operations, and specifically in a role that required a deep understanding of the training and development of sales teams Experience with global/international sales operations/enablement is a definite asset.
Sales Skill: Demonstrated experience in successful selling roles and capabilities in evolving and maturing a sales function.
Training Skills: Building training programs for sales professionals.
Salesforce.com: you must demonstrate super-user level working knowledge of salesforce.com, including knowledge of dashboarding and analytics, deep understanding of lead and opportunity management within salesforce.com.
Sales technology and sales processes: We prefer understanding of Outreach (sales outreach process management), Fonteva (our association management system), seamless.AI (outreach database), Looker (system for analytics dashboarding operational data)
Communication: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. In particular, the ability to summarize and communicate to executives up and across our organization.
Strategic Orientation: Highly capable to think long-term and outside of their direct area of responsibility. It involves 3 key skills; business awareness; critical analysis; and integration of information. The outcome of this work would be an action-oriented work plan.
Collaboration Change Management: Experienced in transforming and aligning a team to drive for improvement in new and challenging directions.
Innovative: High degree of capability in using information from a variety of sources, identifying immediate actions needed to address current issues, seizing the opportunity to enhance performance and achieve goals and objectives related to portfolio KPIs.
Leadership: Excels at creating a working environment that promotes and encourages team members' participation to attain common and individual objectives. Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization.
Organization : Excellent skills in setting priorities, developing work schedules, monitoring progress towards goals, and tracking details, data, information and activities.
Planning: Competence in determining strategies to move the portfolio forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results.
Business Analysis: A good understanding of Business Analysis would be considered an asset. The successful incumbent would be expected to complete IIBA’s Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) within the first year of employment.
Membership Associations: Experience working with a membership driven organization and/or a not-for-profit, would be considered an asset.
Virtual/Remote Work Experience: Prior experience with effectively working in a virtual environment/home office is a definite asset.
