Insider is hiring a SVP, Revenue Operations to join our Advertising team to lead the Revenue Operations team, composed of Media Planning & Strategy, Client Success, Ad Operations and Programmatic teams. This person will be one of the senior-most leaders on Insider's advertising team, acting as a central point of contact for the global sales leadership teams, ad innovation, marketing and studios teams, as well as a connector to the broader organization.

The Role & Team:

As a SVP, Revenue Operations you will have a passion for growing revenue, improving retention and driving customer satisfaction. You will be data-driven, analytical, and have experience leading teams in digital media. You are an excellent problem-solver and know how to balance trade offs to maximize impact and revenue opportunity.

You know how to work independently, and partner cross-functionally with all members of the greater Advertising team, and the broader Insider team. You'll partner with sales, marketing, studios, product & tech and finance to ensure success for both the team and our clients.

This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. This role will be located in the New York City metro area.

Key Responsibilities

Manages a global team responsible for Client Services Management, Media Planning, Pricing Packaging and Yield, Ad Operations, and Programmatic Strategy.
Serves on the ad executive team, a small team of executives, responsible for supporting the overall strategy and growth plans of Insider's ad team at the highest level.
Acts as a key partner and best-in-class collaborator, maximizing opportunity and impact, and balancing risks and trade-offs, across the department:
- Key partner to the Global Head of Sales and sales management to oversee day-to-day process execution and optimizations. Leads ongoing management of risks and opportunities with adherence to policies, problems identification and recommends/takes corrective action and communicates performance results and/or changes throughout the sales organization and cross-functional business unit team.
- Key stakeholder to the Ad Products Innovation team and roadmap, providing strategic perspective, insight, guidance and feedback throughout the year on various work streams and initiatives.
- Collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing and Studios leaders to understand the go-to-market strategy and effectively translate business needs into actionable plans and implementations throughout the year.
Utilizes a data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging a deep understanding of both our first and third-party systems.
Significant contributor and partner to sales forecasting, planning, and processes used within the ad sales and finance teams.
Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts.
Responsible for coordinating business planning processes and output.
Acts as a liaison with other departments by understanding the sales model.
Leads management, optimization and ongoing tradeoff analysis on our global yield for advertising.
Provide expertise and guidance on regulation compliance, including privacy compliance.
Assist in the development of internal controls to ensure the integrity of business processes and data.
Provide overall support and departmental coordination for Global Sales Operations team inquiries, ad-hoc requests, and projects.
Represent the Revenue Operations wants and needs to team to the Ad Executive team and Finance.
Responsible for negotiating complex terms and conditions on vendor contracts to ensure the best possible agreements are reached.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: $240K - $290K (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
