Key roles and responsibilities of a CFO include:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Developing long-term financial strategies, budgeting, and forecasting to align with company goals.
Cash Flow Management & Treasury: Managing liquidity, tracking revenue/expenses, and ensuring the company has the funds to operate.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and legal regulations.
Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as interest rate changes, currency fluctuations, and market volatility.
Strategic Leadership: Collaborating with the CEO and board to make high-level decisions regarding mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
Investor Relations: Serving as the key contact for investors and stakeholders, communicating financial performance.
Capital Allocation: Determining how to best allocate financial resources for maximum returns
