Job Description

Revenue Operations is a function within the finance team, that has a laser focus on revenue. This spans across budgets, forecasts, revenue recognition and reporting.

The role of the executive is to support the vision and strategy of the revenue operations team, by providing administrative support to the group and ensuring data integrity is held to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

Inbox Management and prioritization of internal and external stakeholder requests.

Ensuring that new contracts and accurately and timely set-up, in accordance with the contract specification. Attention to detail is paramount.

Responsible for project completion reviews and task management - for example, ensuring all revenues have been recognized and that all invoiced have been raised.

Ensuring that the flow of data from contract signature through to Jellyfish's management accounts are smoothly transitioned and accurately reflected in the spreadsheets (We use g-suite)

Supporting with control implementation and process automation

What you will learn.

IFRS15 technical knowledge and application skills

Commercial awareness

How to optimise revenue processes and how to connect these with other groups within the finance function

Qualifications

An understanding of revenue recognition is preferred (UK GAAP or IFRS15) and or a finance background but is not essential, as full training can be provided.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to prioritize to ensure deadlines are met throughout the month-end timetable.
