Job Title: Hatchery Sales/Operations

Reports to: Sales Manager-North America

Chick Sales/customer service:

1. Manage KSC chick website backend tasks:
o Enter online sales into the Sales Program
o Update inventory and ship dates weekly
o Manage chick customer communications generated by the chick website.
o Create USPS labels/add tracking info to online order.
o Create/send prepay chick invoices as needed and set automated reminders for customer payments.
o Manage website SEO/online advertisements.
2. Assist with chick customer service requests such as order adjustments, schedule changes, and other requests.
3. Coordinate optimal chick transportation methods with Logistics Manager as needed.
4. Coordinate with the hatchery admin staff to provide sales detail, vaccine info, etc.
5. Pursue industry knowledge for chick customer support.
o Review broiler technical data/broiler handbook, follow learning opportunities published/provided by APPPA, attend industry learning events, etc.

Domestic Egg Sales Support:

1. Data entry for customer hatch analysis and hatchery performance analysis.
o Compile hatch data into standard hatch claim format for manager review
o Collect/organize other egg customer feedback for performance analysis.
2. Create health certificates/export packets for Jamaica and Hawaii
3. Provide Domestic Hatching egg customer service support as needed to the Sales Manager
o Sales entry/adjustments in the Sales Program as needed.
o Schedule request comparisons
o Send/resend customer documentation such as shippers, missing invoices, 9-3, BOLs, etc.

General Sales Support:
1. Organize sales performance and financial data to be reported to Sales Manager
2. Collect/organize customer data and feedback for performance analysis.
3. Monitor Accounts Receivables for outstanding balances and report to Sales Manager for collections efforts/escalation as needed.
4. Collaborate with supervisor and others in Sales Force for customer resource management as needed.
5. Other tasks as required.

Logistics Support:
1. Provide logistics support as needed to the Logistics Manager
o Execute and facilitate logistics for all outbound loads when the logistics manager is not available.
o Communicate with dispatch/drivers as needed to acquire delivery information for customers.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
2. Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school): Preferred
3. Experience: 1 plus years of experience in Sales: Preferred
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Especially Excel)
5. Data management, analysis and reporting
