WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Manager/Senior Manager of Revenue Growth & Sales Operations will be responsible for driving long-term, profitable, and incremental growth through the optimization of investment, tactical support, processes, and communication.

This is a “jack of all trades” role, requiring both quantitative, analytical know-how as well as creativity and business problem solving skills.
It is a role that is both highly strategic and in-the-weeds execution focused – you’ll need to balance both.
It is a role that has high visibility and high impact (you will work with every department in the company and that work will drive direct, quantifiable results).
And best of all, it is a role that is new and constantly evolving.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Reporting to and partnering with the Sr. Director of Revenue Growth & Sales Operations, you will act as the hub of the wheel between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and IT/Insights and leverage those relationships to solve both every day and complex business problems.

You will knock down obstacles that prevent sales from selling.
You will aid in the creation of new items for them to sell.
You will leverage data & analytics to guide C-level decision-making.
And you will build and improve processes critical to the company’s success.

Investment & Process Optimization

Analyze trade and consumer incentive program investment effectiveness and recommend adjustments based on ROI and other key performance indicators
Monitor key customer base trends & seasonality to provide change recommendations to monthly forecast
Develop new tools and processes to facilitate cross-functional communication, reduce costs, improve forecast accuracy, and enable continuous improvement
Coordinate and lead Broker quarterly reviews
Partner w/ Brand Team to develop & continually optimize MAPS (merchandising, assortment, promotion, and shelving) guidance to better inform sales strategy
Aid with deduction investigation & recovery

Marketing Deployment

Lead customer-driven new product development from project initiation/approval (building the business case) to creative briefing to partnering w/commercialization team to ensure sales & customer needs are met
Manage the creation and execution of profitable secondary display vehicles
Partner with Marketing to deliver best in class launch support
Discover/unlock/enable new volume opportunities
Analyze inventory, shipment, and consumption data to provide tactical POVs

Sales Planning & Enablement

Lead the development of comprehensive sales plans during the annual budget process to achieve revenue and growth targets
Collaborate with leadership to establish and track sales targets, performance metrics, and incentive structures that motivate and drive results
Provide ad hoc sales and marketing support, including but not limited to prototype development, managing sales sample requests, tracking down operations documentation and creative assets, and populating new item set-up forms
Maintain price lists, sales shared drive, trade calendars, Syndigo/IX1 libraries, and One World Sync database
Monitor short order report & communicate variances to RSMs
Drive Trade Management System compliance & broker training

WHO YOU ARE:

Experience and Education:

Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in brand management, trade marketing, customer/shopper marketing, category development, and/or sales operations
Expert project manager with ability to juggle multiple tasks and execute with precision
Strong analytical & quantitative skills with deep knowledge of key syndicated data (IRI preferred) & Microsoft Excel
Proven track record of agile, creative thinking and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to drive business results
CPG Experience in Retail, Mass, and Club Channels
Familiarity with trade marketing & lower funnel conversion tactics

The position will be based out of our 20,000 sq. foot office in Walnut Creek, CA. We strongly believe in the power of culture and community and have a hybrid work structure with 4 days in the office on a weekly basis to encourage collaboration and personal connections that will allow us to better serve our customers and consumer and to have more fun. Fridays are flex days with employees having the opportunity to choose to be either in the office or to work from home based on what makes most sense for them.
