The Job:

Kitchen & Market is looking for a Director of Retail Sales Operations to lead our store teams in driving revenue and improving the retail operations within our organization. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for actualizing company sales goals by building brand awareness through promotional campaigns as well as leading the charge on community and store events. This role assists with the development of in-store signage that tells the story of our K&M private label product to drive shoppers towards those products. This role will collaborate with our Store Directors on employee training designed to drive customer engagement. This role will also be the Kitchen & Market neighborhood ambassador to execute on the vision of being a local corner grocery store by driving campaigns that drive locals into our stores. It will monitor and report on the performance of these initiatives to our Leadership Team.

Main Job Responsibilities:

Drive foot traffic to our retail locations and build a revenue driving customer experience in store to actualize company sales targets.
Identify areas of opportunity with the Product Team on product assortment, cross-merchandising and signage to drive in-store sales through on-shelf story telling.
Build excellent connections in our store communities including local events, sports and other key organizations and businesses in the area.
Identify customer and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and consumer trends.
Develop and implement customer engagement and product training for store employees.
Implement and manage CRM tools to maximize revenue opportunities and customer experience.
Identify and provide data to quantify the success of marketing and training efforts.
