Overview

Scope of Responsibilities: Oversees the day-to-day operations of the proposal and sales support teams. Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies

Job Summary: Responsible for PBM proposals and sales support, along with select sales responsibility.

Job Duties

Responsibilities

Work closely with the VP of Sales to set the strategic direction related to sales and RFP strategies; develop and continually assess the value proposition of ProAct's pharmacy benefit management program.
Lead and mentor staff to improve skill set and career potential of proposal and marketing departments.
Participate in development and implementation of initiatives to improve processes and procedures
Partner with marketing team to develop new proposal material to support the sales team.
Support external strategic relationships to include but not limited to brokers/consultants/TPAs
Assist in sales presentations to clients, brokers, and consultants.
Assist in the on-going support and communication with accounts
Assist in the development of an annual department budgets
Increase prospective client base by coordinating the Sales Operations and Marketing Department efforts with those of other departments within the company
Attend and participate in frequent on-campus sales and industry department meetings
Provide input on development of marketing and advertising programs
Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
Perform other duties as assigned

Education

Qualifications

Minimum: BS Degree
Preferred: Master's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Experience

Preferred: Previous 5 years hands-on experience in Sales/Marketing or Insurance business
