Manage focus coordination of all support and operational activities for the Global Strategic Accounts as assigned by the Director, Global Sales and Strategic Accounts. Acts as the focal point and coordinator for these activities under the direction of the Director and the Global Account Managers. Responsible for monitoring, measuring, coordinating, and following up on all actions and day-to-day operations related to growing the revenue from the selected Global Strategic Accounts. Supports the Sales Management in all Sales Activity including but not limited to: administration, contract negotiation analysis, qualifications tracking, formulation, and generation of Management tracking reports, and day-to-day action items. Acts in a managerial role, directing and monitoring the activities of all AVX functional groups to achieve objective revenue growth and product line qualifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop strong working relationship and lines of communication with all AVX functional groups, globally and at all levels involved in supporting the activities of qualification and shipments to the customer. This would include but not limited to: manufacturing, scheduling, quality, marketing, sales management, AVX Representatives and all field personnel, customer service, shipping, warehousing, engineering, and development.
Develop measurement and tracking systems to monitor and follow-up on all activities related to the support of the Customer. This includes creation of "Status and Action" workbooks, documenting the qualification activity, status, and next milestones.
Creates detailed tracking reports for personal follow-up on all activities and management team information.
Chairs regular cross-functional team meetings to review activity and follow up on upcoming deadlines.
Acts as the inside management support for the Global Account Managers as it relates to any activity in gaining qualification, samples, issue resolution, administrative support related to documents and contracts with the customer as well as measure customer scorecards improvements.
Prepare monthly Executive Management reports.
Coordinate and communicate to the team and Senior Management the forecast for newly qualified part numbers or technologies in advance of volume production to assure that AVX has the correct capacity plan in place to meet the needs of the customer.
Support contract negotiations by coordination with pricing, marketing, specification engineering and other functional groups involved in the quotation process. Conducts analysis of business data in assisting and recommending to the Global Account Manager in setting the strategy to achieve business share goals.
Assist in preparation of regular Sales forecasts and annual Master Plan Budgeting.
Visit all key Customer sites as needed to develop relationships within the organization.
Act as key internal coordinator for problem resolution with the customer.
Shared responsibility to hit the Annual, Quarterly, and Monthly Sales forecasts. Drives all functional groups to hit or exceed the commitments made to the Corporation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years’ successful experience in leading and developing a sales team, preferably on a global scale.
Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills, particularly in managing/tracking logistics and people.
Effective management in matrix environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels within AVX and Customer organization
Proficient in Office applications, database applications and having the ability to self-generate reports and perform sales analysis
