Your Opportunity

Title: Sales Development Representative Manager

Reports to: Head of Growth

Location: Work remotely from home with the ability to travel as required

Contract: Permanent & full-time

As part of Learnlight’s Growth Team, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Manager plays a key role in increasing global access to our world-class language, intercultural and soft skills training.

The SDR Manger is responsible for a team of sales development representatives who are focused on generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and conversion of inbound engagement. The SDR Manager plans and implements the strategy for their team, which includes developing territory plans, and creating targeted lists of companies and contacts.

The role also requires a close working relationship with the marketing team to create messaging and collateral that will be effective in reaching and engaging potential customers. In addition, the SDR Manager will work with the sales leadership team to ensure that sales pipeline goals are met. Ultimately, the goal of the SDR Manager is to generate more high-quality leads that result in closed business deals.

Your Responsibilities

Act as a role model and a force for good in the team.
Build a great inside sales team by coaching team members on inbound and outbound techniques, sales process and value selling approaches.
Recruit, onboard and retain new SDRs, improve time to productivity for new team members while maintaining performance in the existing team.
Meet and exceed all team quarterly and annual sales quotas whilst driving pipeline growth for the New Business team.
Develop well targeted strategies and sales plans.
Ensure all data is correctly entered and followed up in CRM.
Ensure accurate reporting of leads, pipeline, activities, and forecasts and provide quantitative/qualitative analysis to inform team on general trends, product, competitors.
Collaborate with other departments to develop sales strategy for enhancing the company’s growth.

Requirements

Our Successful Candidate

For this exciting new leadership role, we welcome applicants with SDR Team Management experience, along with experience setting KPI’s and ensuring teams meet these. You’ll be highly organised and confident in leading and making key decisions. Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 is required, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesloft or Outreach would be a plus.

We are looking for C1 level of English, and the ability to communicate in additional languages is an advantage. We also welcome applicants with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in sales, business, or another related field. You’ll demonstrate a passion for education, along with being motivated, driven, and leading teams by example.

3+ years of sales management experience within inside sales or sales development, and knowledge of EdTech, Training or SAAS would be an advantage.
Proven track record in over-achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.
Background in coaching, leading and inspiring teams to drive performance.
Able to analyse reports and provide accurate reporting metrics.
Able to work with different functions effectively for overall business benefit.
Business written and verbal communication skills, analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
The ability to develop and communicate goals in support of the business' mission.
Entrepreneurial drive and comfort working as part of a team in ambiguous, quickly changing environments.
