Position: Chief Revenue Officer

The Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for overseeing the revenue generation process in the organization, ensuring the integration and alignment between all revenue-related functions including sales, customer support, pricing, and revenue management. The CRO will work closely with the COO and other executive team members to drive company growth and ensure the attainment of revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion to cross sell in a professional services environment. It is imperative that the CRO lead a sales team to meet and exceed goals. Must be metrics driven and data fluent. This executive position ensures sales and marketing alignment, identifies opportunities for long-term sales grown and maximizes profitability.

Essential Functions

Develop and implement the company’s revenue strategy to drive growth and profitability.
Lead and manage all revenue-generating departments, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across teams.
Oversee the sales strategy and execution, including setting targets, managing the sales team, and driving sales performance.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and revenue objectives, including lead generation and brand positioning.
Ensure a seamless customer experience from acquisition through retention, working with the customer support and success teams to maximize customer satisfaction and lifetime value.
Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions, track performance, and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee revenue operations to ensure efficient and effective processes, including pricing strategies, sales operations, and revenue forecasting.
Propels sales leadership to develop and implement revenue driving strategies, which create long-term client and business value.
Maintain a client-first focused organization.
Inspire client success leadership to define and deliver on the customer value proposition, without sacrificing firm profitability targets.
Drives scale and profitability by appropriately professionalizing Lexitas’ go-to-market strategy and sales function.
Drives marketing leadership to create and execute winning marketing strategies, to drive profitable growth; and meet revenue budgets and goals.
Responsible for building a winning sales team and organization, through hiring and inspiring team members.
Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances that can drive revenue growth.
Work closely with the CFO to manage the revenue budget, forecast revenue, and report on financial performance.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of industry trends.
Creates accountability within the Company, by developing appropriate metrics and performance expectations for their team.

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record of success in a senior revenue-generating role, preferably as a CRO, VP of Sales, or similar position with seven or more years of advanced experience in a senior management role.
Experience working in a multi-function, multi-geography environment preferred.
Experience with data-driven decision-making and a strong understanding of revenue operations.
Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and management skills with experience leading large, cross-functional teams.
Works collaboratively with all members of management to resolve departmental and organizational challenges.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Chief Revenue Officer will oversee the Marketing and Sales department. Supervisory responsibilities include, interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Travel Requirements

This position requires frequent travel.
