We are hiring a Head of Sales Operations & Strategy to lead sales strategy, sales operations processes and support functions essential to MHHE sales force performance. You will influence and lead account planning, opportunity analysis, organization design, process optimization and the overall effectiveness of sales.

Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer and partnering with the sales leadership team, you will work collaboratively with leaders across Commercial Operations, Customers Success, Marketing, Finance, HR and Portfolio teams to drive continued improvement in sales performance and operating effectiveness.

This role does require regular travel to regional team meetings, on-campus visits, and sales leadership meetings.

What you will be doing:

Work closely with sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement and define optimal performance measurements.
Optimize a unified approach to monitor sales performance, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales effectiveness in partnership with finance.
Engage with sales leaders on performance management, customer engagement strategy, strategic projects and transformation support.
Coordinate with sales leadership to lead efficient and accurate sales analytics initiatives and build relevant systems to scale the team and business to achieve growth.
Ensure efficient allocation of technology, support, and training resources to impact the sales organization.
Serve as a business partner and trusted advisor to the Chief Sales Officer and sales leadership.

We are looking for someone with:

Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree or additional technical certification equivalents in business or CRM system administration preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in sales/go-to-market enablement functions, including demonstration of process leadership
Preferred 8-10 years of experience in learning, educational publishing/software, education or similar industry
Broad-based business acumen in marketing, finance, or related areas with developed and sharpened strategic capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage objectives and budgets and consultative skills
Curious by nature, active listener, insightful questioner, strong attention to detail, highly organized.
