The Sales Operations Analyst will liaise between the sales, marketing, and operations teams through data driven analysis and compelling logic-based story telling. This person will collect, analyze, and interpret sales and marketing related data from multiple internal and external sources to develop impactful analytics solutions, spreadsheets, and visual models that monitor and predict sales results and trends. With direction from the sales and marketing teams, the analyst will help meet various customer needs with customized business solutions that require a fresh analysis of our current and potential business practices to help steer our market offering with a focus on strategic impact and profitability.
With direction from the VP of Sales & Business Development, the Sales Operations Analyst will implement and manage the team’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (Salesforce & HubSpot) with the goal of automating sales and marketing processes.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Project Scope and Sales:

Compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data from Salesforce, Hubspot, and other ERPs, CRMs and analytics platforms
Make recommendations as needed to improve sales revenue, customer relationships, and profitability
Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends
Responsible for managing the quoting process as it directly supports sales efforts
Develops pricing and customer facing marketing tools with support from the marketing team from the analyzed data
Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams while contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives
Performs all other sales focused duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field with at least 1+ years of progressively responsible experience or related skills in sales, marketing, or project management; or a combination of experience and education that results in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Experience with Salesforce and/or Hubspot preferred

Skills/Abilities:

At least 1+ years’ experience as an Analyst or experience with data mining in an established organization
Ability to exhibit proficiency across multiple systems including Salesforce, Hubsport, other ERPs, CRMs and analytics platforms to help sales leadership use data to problem solve
Must be proficient using the current Microsoft Office suite, with an advanced understanding of Excel (pivot tables, conditional formatting, indexing, vlookup, etc.) and Power Point
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in mathematics with the skill to translate complex mathematical information into understandable reports
Strong oral and written communication skills
Report writing and presentation skills
Ambitious, hardworking, and team-oriented
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to complete required job training as needed
Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities, stay organized and work independently

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
Physical Requirements:

Regularly and safely lifts, carries, and handles supplies and equipment weighing at least 20 pounds, occasionally lifts, and carries up to 30 pounds
