Chief Financial Officer-Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan

Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan (MCHCP), a non-federal governmental health plan, is seeking to fill its Chief Financial Officer position. MCHCP was established under Chapter 103 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri and was created to provide health insurance for state and local governments under the management of the Board of Trustees.

Job Location- This position will be located at 832 Weathered Rock Ct Jefferson City, MO.

What You Will Do

This position is an executive position at the Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan (MCHCP) responsible for providing leadership to organizational systems, programs and processes that support the fiscal, communications and general services operations of MCHCP. This position is responsible for providing executive oversight to the Finance, Internal Audit, General Services, Multimedia Communication and Data Analytics sections. This position is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of MCHCP finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, investment strategies, record-keeping and financial reporting and any related disclosures in accordance with general accepted accounting principles and, as such, has broad responsibility for the maintenance of professional and technical financial standards.

FSLA Status: Exempt.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.

Hold and maintain appropriate credentials such as a Certified Public Accountant or certified Government Financial Manager.

Five years advanced level accounting experience, of which at least three years must be at the management level.

Master's degree and additional related work experience, preferably in a government setting, highly desirable.
