Position Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Sales & Operations Administrator to join our Prince George team. We are looking for a proactive, tech-savvy professional to support and grow our logistics and scrap yard operations. This role combines sales, logistics coordination, and general administrative support, requiring someone who is comfortable working both in an office environment and on-site at a scrap yard.

The ideal candidate is self-driven, organized, and comfortable using computers and systems. This person will actively support logistics sales efforts, help manage rental and service administration, and ensure day-to-day administrative tasks are handled efficiently—without needing constant direction.

Key Responsibilities

Support and drive logistics and service sales, including identifying opportunities and engaging with customers.
Actively promote and sell logistics and related services, identifying new business opportunities and managing customer relationships, with commission-based earnings tied to sales performance.
Assist with logistics coordination, service scheduling, and operational follow-ups.
Handle general administrative duties related to yard operations, rentals, and customer services.
Maintain and update records, reports, and documentation using internal systems and tools.
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner.
Support day-to-day administrative needs at the scrap yard and office.
Proactively identify tasks, process improvements, and areas where support is needed.

Requirements

Strong computer skills; comfortable learning and using new systems and software.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented mindset (sales-driven attitude).
Comfortable working in a scrap yard / operations environment.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Prior experience in sales, logistics or administration is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: CAD $62,400 annually
Commissions: Performance-based commissions tied to sales results
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
