Primary Function:

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Sales Operations to support the Business Development department and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in sales operations, team management, process improvement, analytics, proposal management, and developing customer presentations. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and as a member of the Sales leadership, you will be responsible for implementing effective sales strategies, analyzing sales data, and providing actionable insights to the sales team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for utilizing analytical and operational expertise to: 1) partner with sales leadership to drive strategic goals, 2) increase understanding of drivers that influence sales performance and 3) drive timely and quality execution of required operational processes for optimum business planning
Develop sales and operational reporting, Sales team performance analytics, and ad-hoc reporting
Lead sales forecasting, develop and implement tactical plans in support of sales strategy, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization
Effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to gain alignment on business objectives and drive action plans to achieve them
Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts
Coordinate planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the business
Ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion
Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
Coordinate training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the sales organization
Design complex plans tied to budgets & strategies, capture performance data against targets, track payment execution
Work with Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources and aid with sales incentive compensation administration
Conduct market and competitive research to inform sales strategy
Evaluate and recommend sales tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Knowledge Needed-

Knowledge of CRM systems and sales automation tools
Excellent problem-solving skills, details oriented with focus on quality and accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in interacting with stakeholders

Education and Certification:

Education/Experience Requirements-

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
7+ years of sales operations and/or analytics experience, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry
