The Sales Operations Manager (SOM) is responsible for providing high level operations strategy, administrative support, sales related activities and client-based initiatives for the Corporate Engagement Department. This position will work with the Director of Corporate Engagement in developing and implementing strategies to create efficiencies and streamline departmental processes. This position requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment with internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Strategy and Operations Sales Support 70%

- Involved in long- and short-term strategic planning for sales operations.

- Responsible to create and interpret sales data and reporting.

- Creates, recommends, and promotes sales initiatives.

- Researches and develops prospect campaigns to develop new partnership opportunities.

- Proactively identifies business trends, white space opportunities and key drivers to deliver revenue growth

- Manages tracking and administrative support for National Annual Convention and Regional convention partner activation deliverables.

- Works with Director of Corporate Engagement and marketing team to develop partnership guide and sales pieces for Corporate Membership programs and events.

- Manages sales invoicing and revenue tracking.

- Creates all sales presentations for high level pitches to corporate partners.

- Leads in the planning and development of budgets.

- Creates monthly sales reports and CRM reports when available.

- Prepares partner and sponsorship agreements/contracts, including rules and regulations.

- Provides planning and logistical support for Partner Preview, Chapter Leadership etc.

- Provides coordination with Marketing team for all post-convention support i.e., survey, infographic, website partner site etc.

- Leads and/or assists with special projects as assigned by Director of Corporate Engagement.

Client Support 30%

- Maintains excellent customer service to external and internal stakeholders.

- Provides initial follow-up with partner prospects.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Requirement(s):

Bachelor’s Degree AND 2-5 years of experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Must have strong analytical and communications kills.

- Must be detail-oriented and have organizational skills

- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).

- CRM experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

- Typical office setting (remote/work from home and hybrid 1-2 days a week)

- Occasional domestic (10%)

- One must possess the ability to communication and exchange information as well as the ability to use a computer, related software programs

- One must possess the ability to transport up to 20 lbs

- Ongoing local and/or national travel periodically required
