Revenue Operations Manager

Note: This is a new position that will be bonus eligible based on performance and will report to National’s President.

National Custom Hollow Metal is seeking a Revenue Operations Manager who will be responsible for optimizing and streamlining revenue-generating and production processes to enhance National’s overall efficiency and profitability. This position will require strategic management of the entire revenue cycle by understanding input costs, optimizing processes, analyzing data, generating effective reports, and developing strategies to maximize organizational performance.

Essential duties and responsibilities of the Revenue Operations Manager will include:

Manage the revenue cycle from end to end, overseeing and streamlining all aspects of revenue operations and identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase National’s overall profitability and to reduce costs associated with sales and operations.
Establish processes, systems, analytics and tools to track revenue and monitor financial performance; identify gaps that can improve profit margins.
Provide counsel and guidance to the accounting team to strengthen cost accounting disciplines including “job costing” to better control costs and inform pricing decisions.
Analyze customer and market data and trends to develop sales forecasting models.
Generate regular reports for the Management team on sales performance, sales pipeline and revenue forecasts.
Provide sales projections for the upcoming budget year during the annual budget process.
Ensure that National maximizes its revenue potential and that all revenue-generating activities are aligned with and support the company’s financial goals and objectives.
Develop, analyze and track product usage metrics, market analysis and other key performance indicators, and turn them into actionable strategies to maximize profit margins; adjust strategies as needed in response to changes in market conditions or customer needs.
Collaborate with the Management team and work with Estimating, Order Detailing, Engineering and Production to identify areas where processes can be improved and to ensure that all aspects of operations work together toward maximum profitability.
Stay up to date on technology and new trends in industry to develop innovative approaches for optimizing revenue streams.
Create detailed reports that provide relevant data, analysis, insights and recommendations to the Management team for i) formulating pricing strategies, ii) developing and executing marketing campaigns and sales strategies, iii) improving customer retention and iv) evaluating new markets, product offerings or other opportunities to increase sales.
Provide revenue operations guidance and services to related business operations, as needed.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position include:

Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including the use of Power BI and Excel to assess, manipulate and analyze data, and familiarity with and understanding of ERP, CRM and related systems.
Must have solid analytical and project management skills.
Strong understanding of data analytics and reporting tools.
Excellent problem diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
Proven financial modeling skills, including knowledge of forecasting methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization as well as with external stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally; must be comfortable working cross-functionally and collaborating closely with other departments within the company.
Must be visionary to anticipate, prepare for and react quickly to changing market, economic, technological, or operational conditions.
Strong business acumen and understanding, with financial management skills for business improvement.
Strategic thinking and planning skills; proven strategy development and implementation abilities.
Must be a self-starter with the initiative to take on responsibilities and challenges.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Five years’ experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business operations, finance or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with CRM software, sales analytics tools and project management tools.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
