Responsibilities:

Develop the Revenue Organization

Develop and implement global revenue growth strategies to achieve business goals, and identify new sources of revenue as the organization enters a new phase of Digital Transformation and growth.
Develop and maintain a strong and cohesive team: manage a high capacity, collaborative, and values-driven team that has deep expertise across all revenue channels to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets. The Chief Revenue Officer’s direct reports will lead:
- eCommerce and Direct Mail teams
- Country (regional) Markets
- Merchandising, Personalization, Pricing & Promotion
- Product Management and User Experience (UX/UI)
Build a values-based culture throughout the Revenue team thriving on learning, iteration, and results
Provide regular reporting on revenue performance/ progress toward goals to the Executive Team
With accountability for, and full ownership of, the global P&L the CRO will collaborate with internal business functions on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue objectives.

Collaborate with the SLT to Drive Profitable Growth

Mid/Lower Funnel Marketing Management: The CRO will work closely with the Brand SVP to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with our Brand Strategy. The CRO and Brand teams will work together to develop brand and marketing campaigns, identify target markets, and manage the company's online presence
Product Development: The CRO will collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to ensure cross-functional Product Development teams (comprised of team members from both the Revenue and Technology organizations) collaborate and communicate efficiently and productively to achieve high-priority objectives.
Financial Management: The CRO will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage the company's financial performance, ensuring revenue and profit targets are achieved. This will include developing and managing the revenue budget, monitoring revenue performance, and identifying opportunities to grow profits and save on costs.
Tools and Software: The CRO will collaborative closely with the CTO and other SLT members (where relevant) in the selection of tools and software required to optimize their area of functional responsibility
Thought Leadership: Within the SLT, the CRO will be a thought leader on high-level business priorities and all things related to revenue and profitability

Planning & Analysis

Monitor the marketplace to analyze opportunities, formulate competitive analysis, and plan/propose tactics to drive profitable growth
Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy and make amendments if necessary
Analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions regarding revenue growth and profit opportunities
Stay up-to-date with industry trends to inform revenue growth strategies and tactics
Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners and agencies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
10-15 years’ experience leading global revenue generating functions with success in driving at least $500m in annual revenue in a global leadership role, preferably within the promotional products industry or related B2B sales/ omni-channel environment
Proven experience and understanding of eCommerce and Direct Mail channels is a requirement
A strong understanding of technology trends and best in practice in tools and ways of working
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing global revenue growth strategies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions that drive business outcomes
Ability to work toward an overarching vision, while executing tactically in a lean organization
Exceptional interpersonal skills – intuitive, compelling conversationalist, and intelligent listener
Superior collaboration and relationship-building skills
Ability to work across departments efficiently and productively to achieve business goals
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
