Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Neopart provides aftermarket parts and services for heavy duty vehicles in mass transits and fleet customers located throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions. The private equity-backed Company is at an exciting key inflection point having proved its tech-enabled roll-up strategy. The CFO will be an integral of part the successful execution of this plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages the due diligence and implementation of acquisitions as the Company aggressively executes its rollup strategy.
Develops standardized processes to facilitate smooth operations of numerous acquired companies.
Leads all financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management for multiple entities and locations.
Develops and implements/oversees/drives strategies to increase profitability.
Leads acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration be accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management.
Oversees the management of a financial and operational strategy.
Collaborates with the leaders to create budgets and track key performance indicators. Exhibits a strong understanding of the business, the company’s strategy and priorities, and presents analyses, KPI’s and other tools that drive performance.
Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage business insurance and coordinate renewal and set up new policies with insurance Broker.
Builds and manages monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
Oversees and reviews accounting tasks, including payroll, receivables, and compliance.
Knows and adheres to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

THE CANDIDATE

EXPERIENCE& QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting, required
Supplemental certifications or continuing education, CPA, CFA, or MBA, a plus
10-20+ years of progressive growth within Finance or Accounting roles, with a proven trajectory of increasing scope, responsibility, and leadership
Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP software packages, including QuickBooks and its related work-flow software QuickBase
M&A Project Management - Oversee the due diligence and integration of each new acquisition
Knowledge of general ledger systems and how accounts roll up into final financial statements
Strong data analytics foundation
Ability to identify needs, create processes and continuously evolve
Communicates effectively and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Develops strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and seniority levels
Ability to evaluate expenses and allocate to entities appropriately
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience managing general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Accuracy and attention to details

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
