What We Need

We are looking for someone based in the Eastern Time zone in this newly created role who will be tasked with designing and carrying out strategy and process that improves deal velocity, profitability, and customer engagement. We need an experienced. This person will partner with US and EMEA sales leadership teams to drive improvements in contracting velocity for quotes and quote amendments. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who's passionate about partnering with Sales on deal structure for contracting, managing operational processes, analyzing trends and recommending and implementing process improvements.

This role is moving NetBrain from a decentralized deal desk management owned by multiple players into a centralized function, and you will have the opportunity to put your fingerprints on this exciting new evolution of our sales motion.You will have the opportunity to build operational processes that also supports a growing channel business. You’ll be continuously optimizing NetBrain's deal structure while maintaining high levels of rigor and internal client happiness!

What You'll Do:

You will act as trusted advisor in the development and commercial execution of deal process that touches sales, finance, accounting, legal, etc.
Manage all aspects of Deal Desk including supporting field and channel teams in deal structuring, approvals, deal registration process for channel, and deal development
Build and scale a deal desk model that supports volume and velocity while maintaining accuracy for downstream collaborators
Develop a roadmap for implementation of enhancements and new features through cross-functional stakeholder influence. Work with SFDC platform team to execute.
Oversee deal structure and manage the impact of deal terms that may affect various business collaborators and providing creative solutions to the customer and/or internal collaborators. (Work closely with the CFO on the most complex deals.)
Dive into the details of process and automation while also keeping an eye on the big picture strategy
Drive continual training of Account Executives (field and channel) on all aspects of deal structuring.

Who You Are:

5+ years working with sales teams on the closure of strategic, complex, and/or competitive opportunities, with experience managing a deal desk function for a multi-channel business
Expert level knowledge Salesforce and CPQ
Experience in developing quotes and managing workflows dealing within a channel operations framework.
Understands key issues affecting deal desk around deal structuring, revenue recognition, etc.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to articulate sophisticated concepts to cross-functional audiences.
Strong presentation capabilities and ability to clearly articulate concepts to sales leadership and legal to craft solutions to customer's requests.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Is comfortable teaching others.
Team Player with a growth mindset; always willing to support the business beyond the box
