As Chief Customer Officer, you will develop and execute on a comprehensive customer growth strategy, leading a talented team of post-sales customer deployment and account management teams across all Nova Credit’s global customers, covering Nova Credit’s global customer portfolio. You will partner with our sales/business development, product, and marketing teams to deeply understand engagement, deployment, growth, and retention opportunities for our existing customer set and identify, develop, and execute on plans to tackle them.

Using your deep knowledge of financial institutions and credit providers, you will build rapport with our roster of customers - including banks and other lending institutions across the US, the UK, Singapore, the UAE, and beyond - and serve as an industry thought leader, representing Nova Credit’s mission, capabilities, and brand. As a member of our Leadership Team, you will serve as an internal customer advocate and provide key direction for both our product and strategic roadmaps. This position reports directly to the CEO.

This person will ideally be located in the NYC metro area, though other geographies may be considered for the right candidate.

WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH, YOU'LL

Understand our products, customers, and strategy
Develop a perspective on Nova Credit’s customer and consumer portfolio, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas of opportunity
Develop strong cross-functional relationships, particularly with BD/Sales, Marketing, and Product
Kick off a positive, trusting relationship with direct reports and begin to put your mark on your new team’s culture
Identify and execute on a few quick wins

WITHIN THE FIRST QUARTER, YOU'LL

Assess our U.S. & International customer launch process and identify areas for improvement
Engage with strategic accounts and advance partnership framework with Nova Credit’s Marketing team, to start developing deep relationships and identifying growth levers
Set in motion execution of queued up growth plans, as well as a few quick wins on new initiatives

WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR, YOU'LL

Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive customer lifecycle management framework for all customer accounts at Nova Credit
Significantly drive scale and grow revenue from strategic customer accounts
Elevate Nova Credit’s brand through speaking engagements and other thought leadership platforms
Influence Nova Credit’s product and strategic roadmaps as top champion of customer feedback and requirements
Grow our U.S. and international teams and scale the broader function with relevant systems, structures, and processes

YOUR SKILLSET

10+ years of experience in client success, client services, post-sales or related positions at mid-market/enterprise SaaS or Fintech companies OR progressive experience in credit risk, growth marketing, strategic alliances, or partnerships for major financial institutions. Prior tech and/or management consulting experience is a plus
Deep understanding of the consumer finance landscape and institutions within it; knowledge of infrastructure, governance, and key priorities for banks and other lending institutions serving consumers. Credit risk and marketing expertise a strong plus, as is Fintech experience
Ability to take your current knowledge base and expand into new and complex issues arising in the consumer financial services landscape
Proven track record of leading relationship-building efforts across diverse client types, identifying client growth opportunities (particularly for consumption-based business models), and defining and executing on strategies to drive incremental revenue. Expert at storytelling through data
Proven success directly building and managing a team, building team culture, and mentoring team members

Base Salary Range for U.S.-based candidates: $240,000 - $305,000, dependent on candidate’s individual experience, skills, education, location, and qualifications. Total compensation package will also include equity grants and may include incentive compensation and/or commission-based earnings.
