Job Summary/Objective
Leads a team of Sales Business Analysts in partnering and providing leaders of operational areas timely value-added analysis and reporting to drive better business outcomes. Manages the team to rapidly analyze, validate, visualize, prototype and deliver solutions. Plays a critical role in analyzing, defining and supporting key growth initiatives to help drive internal efficiencies and value creation in support of the operations business unit. Leverages industry and subject matter expertise to support, collect, and analyze data related to product activations, product usage, market dynamics, and CRM activities to create insights that help drive growth. Works with CRM, data warehouses and BI tools (i.e. LinkIQ/PSXLink, Power BI, Microsoft Customer Insights, Easy Territory) to produce reports and analysis that provide insight and guidance to identify workflow improvements and increase product adoption.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leads, motivates, and guides activities of the Finance Business Analysis Team, including delegating work, assigning objectives, establishing priorities, providing coaching and performance feedback, and ensuring completion of deliverables. Promotes the professional growth of team members. Plans and executes engagement and culture building activities. Hires and onboards new team members.
2. Identifies ongoing needs of operations team around performance management, executes reports as needed, and partners with Business Intelligence team to determine opportunities for automation of recurring reporting needs.
3. Designs and implements highly automated business reporting, analysis and dashboard processes that translates business data into real-time business analysis to evaluate trends and identifies areas of opportunity to help drive OEC strategy.
4. Provides actionable insight, bringing transparency to key trends and issues underlying business performance that will ultimately determine leadership level corrective action plans.
5. Leads and supports sales territory design and sales coverage, customer segmentation, account executive staffing planning levels, as well as productivity and Product Quality Management (PQM) analysis, and quota allocation.
6. Plans and designs the strategy and analysis of commission plans.
7. Evaluates technology to drive improvements in overall sales processes.
8. Develops relationships and collaborates cross-functionally with the business and external partners to gather and define business requirements, challenge assumptions, and provide a perspective on how OEC tracks and manages customer and employee performance through data analysis for the team.
9. Serves as subject matter expert for data needs of the sales operations team and leverages strategic thinking to help define internal reporting and analysis roadmaps which support needs of customer facing teams.
10. Collaborates with Business Improvement Services (BIS) to improve Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes and workflows to improve productivity of team and provide easier access to tracking key milestones.

Education
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.

Experience
At least 5 years’ of progressively responsible experience in data, business and/or process analysis including trend analysis, leveraging data prediction, and working with a variety of analysis tools such as Excel (PowerQuery, Lookups (V/H/X), pivot tables), Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), Power BI, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Customer Insights, Easy Territory, and Web-scale databases, with a background in supporting sales operations such as territory design/coverage, sales process & systems, and commission planning and tools, plus at least 2 years of management responsibility leading a team of direct reports. Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise.
Can effectively mentor and develop team members, providing feedback on areas they are successful as well as areas that are needing improvement.
Able to investigate, analyze, and articulate data requirements.
Detailed and process-oriented, with the ability to think and work independently and creatively.
Knowledge of business intelligence tools and emerging related technologies.
Ability to acquire data from primary or secondary data sources, review/cleanse as needed, and provide insights into performance and/or opportunities.
