JOB SUMMARY

In this position, our objective is for this team member to contribute to a more efficient and effective business development operation by working closely with the team on projects and tasks related to maximizing team performance. This person will play a key role in Orion’s business development operations through various tasks and projects in support of four key areas: new business development, new client onboarding, client relationship management, and marketing with the guidance of the Business Development team. REPORTS DIRECTLY TO

SVP, Business Development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Contributes to establishment and maintenance of Orion’s business development operations with focus on four key areas: new business development, new client onboarding, client relationship management, and marketing with the guidance of the Business Development team.
New Business Development

- Maintain salesforce business development reports
- Work with salesforce development team on page layouts
- Maintain sales proposal templates and collateral and participate in updates as needed
- Manage the sales forecasting tool to track budget vs actual results
- Assist in processing agreements and documents

New Client Onboarding

- Assist in tracking progress of projects and tasks
- Gather and manage key client documents via email
- Schedule and participate in various project meetings

Client Relationship Management

- Assist in drafting and processing client work orders
- Track client new contract originations and portfolio trends against budget
- Track and support add-on sales efforts and deliveries
- Assist in coordinating client meetings

Marketing

- Maintain mail lists pertaining to marketing and sales projects
- Coordinate preparation for industry conferences
- Assist in maintaining social media strategy
- Assist in planning, preparation, and production of annual Small Business Lending Forum (SBLF)

Participate in other business development initiatives and opportunities as identified
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of professional experience working in a company
Associate degree
Detail oriented and thorough. Must have research abilities
Skill in the use of various software applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel and Salesforce (preferred, not requited)
Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work efficiently
Enthusiastic and possess positive energy
Strong oral and written communication skills - ability to work well with a team
Possess high standards and ethics

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in a sales position
Bachelor’s degree
