The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) has Executive oversight of the credit unions Mortgage sales/originations teams, member business lending and accounts, as well as Palmetto Citizens Investment Services. The CRO is responsible for creating and executing the strategic plan for these areas, while delivering on our mission, ensuring a best-in-class experience, and a profitable business model.

The CRO is also responsible for the identification and development of new, industry-leading products and services based on the needs of the membership. This role is responsible for innovation of existing and new products and services, utilizing data and market analytics, to improve the Member experience, while targeting products and services for increased adoption. The CRO identifies Member needs and market differentiators that translate into product pairings and designs that will create additional revenue and establish Palmetto Citizens as the premiere financial institution in the Midlands.

Drive Revenue Through Products & Services.

Has Executive oversight over the Palmetto Citizens Investment Services team. Works with the VP Wealth Management and Trust Liaison to develop and implement strategy, evaluate products and services, drive high-level of sales and service execution, implement effective programs to increase sales, and expand overall success of the department.

Has Executive oversight over the Mortgage department. Works with the Mortgage Manager to look for ways to bring more options to the members in the way of products and services to increase volume, member home ownership and revenue to the credit union.

Has Executive oversight over the development of the Commercial Lending department. Works with the Business Development Officer to bring more options to the members in the way of Business products and services to increase volume for the credit union.

Lead organizational process to ensure discipline in product pricing and profitability.

Oversee the generation of new product concepts, bundling of existing products/services, and coordination of advertising, market launch, and delivery design for Mortgage, Business, and Investment products.

Work with finance to accurately project the financial impact of each new product and service.

Estimate business impact of new product initiatives and prepare reports and recommendations for Senior Leadership Team.

Implement strategies that result in member acquisition, retention, and relationship depth.

Evaluate the organization's performance, strengths and weaknesses, and competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities.

Identify new market spaces. Analyze trends and market disruptions and search for emerging new market opportunities.

Develop plans for leveraging organizational resources to capitalize on new opportunities and track performance.

People & Culture Development

Serve as a member of the Executive Team, helping to drive the culture and vision for Palmetto Citizens.

Provide coaching, training, mentorship, and support in an atmosphere of open and direct communication.

Develop leaders who can deliver on business objectives.

Role model leadership and professionalism for all Palmetto Citizens leaders.

Executive Leadership

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, develop, implement, and execute the strategic plan for the Credit Union along with the other Executive Team members.

Work closely with other Senior Leadership Team members to ensure that Mortgage, Business, and PC Investment Service product and service road maps are aligned with Palmetto Citizens’ strategic plan.

Lead the strategy review and development of Mortgage, Business, and PC Investment Service products and services.

Thorough knowledge of the practices of Palmetto Citizens FCU, and the policies of the organization.

Strong analytical skills; able to deconstruct complex credit union practices into clear and actionable initiatives and strategies.

Demonstrated skills in leadership, interpersonal communication and organizational management required.

Excellent ability to think and act both strategically and tactically; a decision-maker and problem-solver with sound judgment.
