ROLE MISSION

Our ideal new colleague for this role will become shortly a trusted advisor across our global Sales team and will partner with leaders from Sales, Supply Chain, Partner Success, Marketing, Finance, Strategy, and other functions. This role is a crucial element in driving sales excellence and attaining our targets.

As our new colleague, you'd be an excellent leader who is proactive in their approach to key strategic and tactical deliverables while continually driving efficiencies within their department and across the teams they support while managing functions essential to the productivity of Plastic Bank.

As our new colleague, you'd focus on sales process optimizations, sales program implementation, sales effectiveness, upskilling of our go to market approach for both direct and channel business, coordination of sales plays with cross functional stakeholders, and sales/marketing/partner success dashboards and reporting. Further responsibilities include maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in all the organization's efforts. Our new colleague can be based anywhere in Canada fully remotely or in our Vancouver office (hybrid).

AS A SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER YOU WILL

Drive the operations that fuel sales and bring sales strategy to life:

Advisor to Sales Leadership - Identify opportunities for and drive the execution of sales process improvements. Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
Advisor on relevant technical Tools & Systems - responsible for data fidelity in Salesforce and all associated sales reporting in Salesforce. Monitor data integrity and execute opportunities to improve data cleanliness
Contribute to sales budgeting and territory planning for the sales organization. Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the Sales organization's planning efforts.
Change Agent - Evaluate sales business processes with an eye for improvement for scalability.
Contributor to company-wide projects as requested or assigned
Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize high impact projects and set expectations accordingly

Lead Sales reporting & insights:

Put your strong analytical skills to work by assessing data and drawing insights that drive growth and increase efficiencies across all levels of our global sales organization
Operational reporting - Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate reporting for Revenue Accounting and other internal/external stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in the analysis, design and implementation of reports and dashboards
Work directly with Sales Leadership to provide timely sales analytics including sales performance, activity, and pipeline analysis
Support ad-hoc reporting with a focus on building repeatable processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing Operations, and other business units to ensure consistent data integrity and reporting standards

Build the right systems & tools & processes:

Strong knowledge of Salesforce applications and reporting
Sales Tools and Process Management - design, build, run, the tools and processes that form the backbone of the sales business operations.
Implement, maintain, and train on the sales tools the sales team needs to succeed such as Salesforce, Amplemarket, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Minimum of 8+ years in Sales Operations or related profession paired with a Supply Chain experience at a product company.
