Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and manage all financial aspects of our operations in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the company’s financial success while ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and processes. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in corporate finance, particularly in the online gaming or casino industry. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Philippines and have at least a basic understanding of the country’s financial and regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's short- and long-term goals.
Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management to ensure financial stability and growth.
Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team based on financial performance and market conditions.

Regulatory Compliance and Governance:

Ensure compliance with Philippine financial regulations, taxation laws, and industry-specific requirements.
Liaise with local regulatory bodies, auditors, and legal teams to ensure adherence to local and international standards.
Monitor changes in financial regulations and adapt company policies as needed.

Financial Operations and Reporting:

Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, auditing, reporting, and risk management.
Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and budget performance analyses, to the executive team and stakeholders.
Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

Team Leadership and Development:

Build and lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to finance staff.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Strategic Decision-Making and Collaboration:

Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on financial matters.
Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Support strategic initiatives, including potential mergers, acquisitions, or expansions.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (CPA or CFA designation preferred).
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in the online gaming, casino, or related industries.
Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and management.
Experience working in or familiarity with the Philippine financial and regulatory landscape is required.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of international and Philippine financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in financial software and systems, with advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
