Job posting: Chief Revenue Officer

PLS is searching for a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to be responsible for maximizing the company's revenue growth through effective planning, execution, and management of revenue-generating activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and revenue management, as well as experience working with senior leadership teams. You will work closely with other departments, including product development, operations, and finance, to ensure that all revenue-generating activities are aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives.

More on what you'll do:

Develop and implement growth strategies in collaboration with the executive team.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth.
Develop and manage sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth.
Build and maintain relations with key stakeholders, including customers, partners and vendors.
Develop and maintain metrics to measure the success of growth initiatives.
Lead and mentor a team of growth professionals, including business development, marketing, and sales.
Develop annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
Manage multiple channel selling strategies.
Work closely to coach sales teams in the development and management of major and national accounts; identify key customers and markets.
Research and develop strategies to penetrate identified marketing opportunities, direct marketing campaigns and new project development.

As the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be expected to have prior experience with:

Ability to develop and present to C-level decision makers.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Strong customer orientation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
Track record of leading high-performance sales teams
Commitment to company values.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

Exceptional candidates will have:

10+ years of related experience and progressive career growth.
Transportation/logistics industry experience a must.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing growth strategies.
Strong analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
