THE ROLE: Manager, Sales Operations (SLED)

Job Summary:

As a Manager, Sales Operations (SLED), you will have responsibility for providing operations support to the sales organization within an assigned segment. The successful candidate will be the point person for account management and sales leadership in providing operational subject matter expertise with oftentimes complex selling scenarios. Additionally, the Manager, Sales Operations plays a key role in managing the Inside Client Management and Sales Support teams which are critical to our velocity of sales and customer experience.

Travel Requirements:

In this role, you will be expected to travel up to 10%.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day activity of the Inside Client Management (ICM) and Sales Support organizations within a given segment of the business
Provide operational guidance and support to the sales organization (Inside Client Managers, Account Managers, Sales Directors, etc)
Maintain subject matter expertise in all areas of SLED contracts, including state/local contracts, ERate, and NASPO
Identify and implement solutions aimed at increasing the productivity of the ICM position through process and toll improvements
Contribute to the development and utilization of tools aimed at increasing sales penetration and improving customer experience (eCommerce, reporting, etc)
Partner with SLED contracts team to ensure compliance with all public sector contract vehicle requirements
Promote client self-service eCommerce solutions to grow sales and increase customer satisfaction
Create and execute sales operations training and development programs
Manage the interviewing and hiring process for new ICMs and Business Operations Representatives
Coordinate with vendor and OEM representatives to host product and operational trainings
Create documentation to drive ICM policies and processes, with emphasis on SLED contracts and related curriculum
Provide training and expertise on Presidio sales tools (Salesforce.com, CPQ, etc)
Be a key problem-solver; particularly for customer satisfaction-related issues
Monitor team utilization to ensure that ICM can perform effectively while providing superior levels of customer and internal support
Contribute to the development and execution of account manager onboarding programs

Required Skills:

Strong analytical skills
Experience with sales tools such as CRM (Salesforce) and CPQ
Ability to manage both administrative and customer-facing sales professionals
Operational experience in dealing with key vendor partners (Cisco Systems, EMC, VMWare)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
5+ years of experience in Information Technology sales operations
