THE ROLE

Support the Sales, Marketing, and Admin teams through data analysis, account management, vendor relations, event planning, and inside sales efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Support – 70%

Maintain the daily workflow of Purple Platypus’s Sales Engineers through account management
Analyze and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly data
Identify and close leads for appropriate products
Reach out to prospective and existing customers and vet incoming calls
Develop and create innovative company processes
Support the sales team during in-house events and trade shows
Partner with Sales and Service team to determine proper customer experience follow-up, including sales order tracking, customer feedback, and overall sales

Administrative Support – 20%

Receptionist Duties
Perform word-processing, typing, emailing, data-entry duties
Light general office duties: manage company calendar, screening incoming calls and redirect calls
Assist in coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, conference calls, company events

Marketing Support – 10%

Assist in marketing related events
Assist in marketing team with creating sales tools, resources, and marketing initiatives

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree preferred
Previous Customer Service/Sales Experience Required
Salesforce experience preferred
Ability to work both independently and in team functions
Flexible, outgoing, adaptable with well-developed interpersonal and follow-up skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving skills
