Job Summary

Realbotix is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, reporting to the CEO and will oversee all financial aspects of the company, including financial strategy, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a track record in financial leadership within technology, robotics, or related industries, with expertise in capital markets, corporate governance, and scaling innovative businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support growth in robotics and AI, aligning with Realbotix’s mission and strategic objectives.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational needs.
Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to support day-to-day operations, R&D investments, and manufacturing scale-up, ensuring financial stability and liquidity.
Capital Markets: Assist in efforts to raise capital through equity, debt, or other financing options. Support mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships as needed.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, SEC, and other regulatory requirements for a publicly listed company. Oversee audits and maintain robust internal controls.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and other C-suite executives to provide financial insights for strategic planning. Communicate financial performance to the board, investors, and external stakeholders.
Innovation & Growth: Identify cost-reduction opportunities, revenue streams, and investment prospects in AI, robotics, and blockchain technologies to drive long-term value creation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) strongly preferred.
2+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or senior finance executive in technology, robotics, or related industries at a publicly traded company.
Expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and capital markets for publicly listed companies.
Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, SEC, TSXV regulations).
Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel; experience with financial modeling and data analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a focus on scalability and adaptability.
