Job Description

Red Wing Shoe Company is seeking a Wholesale Operations Manager who will be responsible for delivery of the strategic operational objectives for the North America Wholesale function. This role will assist in driving effectiveness and productivity of the sales team and further the objectives of sales and marketing organizations via an integrated process. This role will ensure success through implementing sales processes and strategies and establishment and obtainment of sales and operational KPIs and assist with development, delivery, and governance of standard operating procedures focused on driving growth and profitability.

The Sales Operations Manager role is heavily involved in sales strategy, planning and analytics of the sales and operations function. The role is strategic in nature and will include working with the Director of Sales Operations on the development the future state roadmap (6-12 months ahead) to ensure effective alignment and rollout of corporate, sales, sales enablement, sales operations goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field of study, is preferred, with a minimum of 7 years of extensive experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue or Business Operations, or a related field is required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience leading and/or creation of a new function is a plus.

Qualified candidates should have experience working with data administration and management; Experience with systems like Dun & Bradstreet, Discover.Org/Zoom Info, Hoovers or OneSource; Background in ETL (Enterprise, Transform & Load) processes as well as Master Data Management (MDM) and CRM systems; Vast experience supporting internal teams, including sales organizations through complex change management processes.

Qualified candidates should hold advanced skill with computer and business solutions software skills, including CRM and CPQ software, and Microsoft Office Suite; Demonstrated ability to drive results through influence and collaboration with organizational partners and executives through concise communication of ideas, concepts, and analytics; Data administration, design, and architecture; Strong ability to identify process and system requirements to drive governance and continuous improvement; Advanced ability to design, develop and deploy KPIs to solve complex problems through fact based/data driven analysis; Advanced hands-on experience and knowledge of sales strategy and planning processes, sale compensation design, sales and marketing processes, and finance processes; Strong experience with project and change management skills and an ability to prioritize/manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

This is a remote position, with frequent business travel to Red Wing Shoes' headquarters in Red Wing, MN for cross functional collaboration and meetings.
