The Red Hat Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Sales Operations team is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join us. In this role, you will partner with the North West Europe (NWE) Sales Leadership team, to promote revenue and enhance Red Hat's competitive position in the market. You will play a key role by being a trusted advisor to sales management in forecasting, pipeline analysis, planning (topline and quota deployment), and quarterly business reviews (QBR). As a Sales Operations Analyst, you'll provide updates and recommendations on action during those forums. You will work closely with sponsors, project owners, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to define deliverables and manage tasks, resources, costs, and progress.

What you will do

Be the trusted advisor to the Sales Leadership team
Provide forecast process support; forecast validation with Sales Leadership team based on pipeline analysis, in collaboration with the business finance team
Manage pipeline and associated analytics and management; review pipeline development, qualification, hygiene, risks, adoption of sales methodology, etc.
Be familiar with the topline planning process and numbers to guide the sales leadership team
Serve as a subject matter expert for Territory Quota Management, understand and influence the global process and tools’ intricacy, in order to enable Sales Leaders in region on deploying quota from topline down to territories and sales associates
Assist with business performance review; be the trusted advisor to the sales leadership team, by providing analysis and trends on the performance and recommend actions to promote higher achievement
Support and promote the adoption of standardized processes, tools, reporting, dashboards, and customer relationship management (CRM) best practises
Identify the goals, objectives, and scope of projects while working with relevant leaders and stakeholders
Facilitate, specify, document, and deliver business requirements to management and functional areas to identify resource requirements, costs, and delivery schedules
Handle project management issues like project ownership and planning, project integration and adoption, reporting, and post-mortem
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the existing business processes and capabilities
Propose process management improvements and guide their development and adoption
Provide effective and consistent communication between management, associates, and other business partners
Define requirements for and provide analytics to support decision making
Support, guide, and maintain the sales methodology and escalations

What you will bring

Excellent business acumen and business planning skills
Analytics skills in interpretation of Business Intelligence (BI) data
In-depth knowledge of sales methodology and experience in delivering business case financials to lead to improvements in sales processes and tools
Experience working with multiple projects in a matrixed environment
Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
Process improvement experience
Excellent skills with tools like Excel and CRM tools like Salesforce; Tableau and Anaplan skills are a plus
Excellent persuasive communication skills with ability to persuade associates at all levels of an organization
Excellent command of English and knowledge of another European language
5+ years of work experience in sales or sales-related roles; international experience and in the software industry is a plus
University degree; MBA in project management is a plus
Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification is a plus
