Position Summary:

The Sales Operations Manager drives value for Ronk by developing and executing on sales plans and customer service excellence to achieve overall goals of the company. The Sales Ops Manager’s primary responsibilities are to increase customer satisfaction by providing exemplary customer service to promote growth, retention, and loyalty by understanding their needs and wants. The Sales Operations Manager will collaborate with customers and reps by phone, email, video meetings and occasional on-site visits to support customers and reps in various aspects. They will also work closely with the Sales team to manage their performance, track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to customers, reps, and partners.

Position (responsibilities) :

Develop and implement sales processes for inside sales and sales reps.
Provides leadership to the inside sales team.
Strives for customer service excellence, customer first oriented
Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales goals and strategies.
Helps develop sales goals, motivates, and encourages sales team to ensure these goals obtained.
Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
Provide Sales reporting to teams and leadership; research and analyze data to create sales forecasts
Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
Streamlines and optimizes Ronk’s quoting and sales ordering process
Recruits, hires, and trains sales team
Recommends, creates, and manages automation tools to increase sales process efficiency

Qualifications (Education & Experience):

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, OR
Comparable record of sales leadership experience required.
At least 5 years of sales experience required.
Analytics and Reporting expertise
Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
Strong understanding of pricing terms, discount levers, payment terms, and contract terms.
Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions, including the ability to maintain information in a confidential manner.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to meet deadlines and take initiative.
Proven attentiveness to detail coupled with problem analysis and resolution skills.
5 years of demonstrated experience working with ERP or MRP systems.

Physical Ability Requirements:

Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats.
Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
