RNL's Deal Desk Specialist role is responsible for with the Sales team on deal structure, quoting, pricing, contracting, and driving deals to a successful partnership with clients. The specialist works as a vital member of the Revenue Operations team and will be responsible for thoroughly understanding the opportunity management process and our business systems to accelerate deals to a successful conclusion efficiently. Manages the contract and procurement process for the new sales and account management team. Reporting to the Director, the specialists will collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance, and Contracts to improve the client's RNL experience and efficiently move deals to a positive conclusion. The Specialist has a detailed approach to managing their daily work and have pride in efficiently accomplishing complex tasks. The ability to work well with internal and external partners is critical to the success of this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)

Serves as the trusted partner to the Sales and Account Management teams on opportunity management and manages the contracting and procurement process to drive deals to closure
Monitors question channels to provide general assistance and advice on common deal questions and opportunity process questions
Oversees the opportunity case queue in Salesforce
Work with new campus partners to navigate the procurement process and ensure a smooth transition from sales to onboarding
Collaborates with impacted parties to identify solutions for common opportunity errors
Maintain a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and focus, moving opportunities through to the conclusion

Required:

BA/BS degree in Management/Business or similar experience
3 years’ experience with higher education, B2B sales, Deal Desk, Order Management, Finance Operations, Sales Operations, or Pricing experience preferred
3 years’ experience partnering with teams and other cross-functional departments
3 years’ experience working in an office of admissions or procurement, preferably with operations responsibilities, and in the public sector
Highly organized, customer-focused, innovative, and strong attention to details
Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage distractions

This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets
This is largely a sedentary role; Infrequent light physical effort is required (minimum of five pounds)
