Our CEO and dedicated executive team have doubled the company's revenue and size in three years, and now, with your help, we're ready to grow market penetration and triple our business in the next three years. It is an exciting time for Safetrac, and the successful candidate will become a critical part of its future.

The role:

Reporting to the CEO, with a growing team of 20+ across New Business, Key Accounts and Marketing, you will work closely with your staff, the executive team and other key stakeholders to meet our revenue goals.

As CRO, you will take the helm of all revenue-generating aspects of our business, including sales and marketing operations. You will leverage your expertise in sales strategy, business development, and team leadership to build on our established market reputation and expand our brand awareness and grow our revenue.

Responsibilities

Revenue Strategy Development

° Formulate and implement revenue strategies, fostering alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success teams to exceed revenue goals, and drive company-wide collaboration for achieving corporate objectives.

° Work alongside company leaders to forecast revenue growth, leverage market data, and capitalize on opportunities within Australasian and future international markets.

° Deeply understand the subscription business model, and utilize this knowledge to devise metrics-driven strategies to expand recurring revenue, improve customer retention, and promote product-led growth.

Marketing and Business Development

° Oversee the marketing team to effectively manage the Safetrac brand, ensuring successful lead generation strategies, customer lifecycle management, and seamless customer experiences across all revenue channels.

° Utilize a deep understanding of market dynamics, competition, and customer preferences to tailor our go-to-market strategy, ensuring the correct positioning of the Safetrac brand, and the alignment of marketing activities with business goals and key performance indicators.

° Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director and team to optimize marketing ROI, implement successful Account-Based Marketing strategies, foster customer referrals and testimonials, and stay informed about latest B2B marketing trends to inform future strategies and maintain competitive edge.

Pricing and Revenue Optimization:

° Develop and implement pricing strategies and models to maximize revenue and profitability.

° Monitor pricing performance across new and existing business and make necessary adjustments to enhance revenue streams.

° Ensure pricing and invoicing is accurate and documented correctly within the CRM and be responsible for ensuring the successful integration of Salesforce with our Xero billing system.

Sales Operations and Analytics:

° Lead and develop Sales and Account Management teams, ensuring alignment with company goals.

° Optimize Salesforce and Pardot usage to aid business growth.

° Establish efficient sales operations via effective processes and tools.

° Utilize data analytics for performance tracking, trend identification, and decision-making.

° Oversee key SaaS revenue metrics, sales forecasts, KPIs, and develop strategies for churn reduction and customer retention.

Team Leadership and Development:

° Cultivate a high-performing revenue team emphasizing collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.

° Recruit, train, and mentor team members while fostering their professional development.

° Implement a performance-based incentive program to motivate and retain sales personnel.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

° BSc/BA in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MSc/MA/MBA is a plus.

° Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, preferably across sales, marketing, and customer success.

° Experience in setting strategic direction, managing change, and driving results for scaling a SaaS based business past 20m ARR.

° Demonstrable experience in driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, and executing go-to-market plans.

° Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools, especially Salesforce and Pardot. Strong understanding of how to leverage these tools to drive sales, enhance customer relationships, and optimize marketing efforts.

° Thorough knowledge of the Australian corporate market landscape with some international expansion experience

° Established relationships in the industry could be beneficial for strategic partnerships and client acquisition.

Proven leadership experience in Strategic and Analytical Thinking:

° Ability to develop and execute revenue strategies, leveraging market insights and data analytics.

° Extensive experience in the SaaS business model, including a strong background in data analysis and the use of data-driven insights for decision making and strategy development. In-depth knowledge of the SaaS business model, including key metrics (MRR, ARR, Churn, LTV, CAC etc) is a must.

° Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and identify creative solutions.

Sales and Business Development Acumen

° Extensive experience in sales management and business development, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth through multiple channels.

° While not strictly necessary, having past experience in the compliance or e-learning industries would be a significant advantage as it would provide the candidate with industry-specific insights and understanding of the customer base and market dynamics.

° Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.

Leadership and Team Management

° Strong leadership and team management abilities.

° Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, driving high performance and achieving results.

° Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a commitment to fostering the professional development of team members.

° Referenceable expertise at designing and implementing effective incentives structures and plans
