The Role

As Savvy scales, we are looking to hire a Revenue Operations leader to enable Savvy to achieve its ambitious revenue growth targets. This role will be responsible for defining Go To Market operations strategy and partnering with the broader GTM organization to go get results.

The Revenue Operations Lead will play a critical role in defining and building out our revenue operations foundation and culture. The scope of this role will take on a broad range of responsibilities across strategy, operations, and analytics with significant opportunity for growth. You will be responsible for developing the tools and processes for streamlining revenue acquisition, designing new sales and marketing strategies, managing business reporting, strategic planning and target setting, process improvement and automation, systems implementation, and more. This role will report directly to the Head of Operations and will be highly cross-functional, partnering closely with the Sales/Growth, Marketing, Operations, and the Leadership Team. The ideal candidate is highly data-driven, scrappy, ambitious, and able to thrive under ambiguity.

This role will be based in NYC with a requirement to come into the office 3 days a week (Tu-Th).

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to develop, implement, and refine revenue operations strategies in order to hit our growth targets.
Oversee and manage company-wide business reporting and support quarterly forecasting and planning.
Manage and optimize revenue-related technology systems, including CRM , sales and marketing automation platforms, and revenue analytics tools. Lead the discovery and integration of new tools to help us grow as we scale.
Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards to monitor revenue performance and provide actionable insights to inform opportunities to improve or double-down on.
Oversee pipeline management, including managing the lead identification, enrichment, and assignment process. Measure and report on pipeline creation, conversion, effectiveness, activity rates, and opportunities for improvement.
Continuously improve lead generation, sales processes and tooling, and SDR team workflows to optimize our revenue growth efforts.
Create and manage resources to train the sales and marketing teams on best practices of using the systems that enable revenue growth at Savvy.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement in the revenue pipeline and take action to address them.
Ensure data quality and accuracy across the revenue operations process, driving data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in revenue or sales operations, business operations, strategy & operations, or consulting / investment banking.
2+ years of experience at a high growth tech startup.
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Proficiency with revenue-related technology solutions, such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and sales and marketing tools (e.g., Apollo, Outreach.io, Gong, Orum).
Strategy: Strategic operator that has experience critically thinking about and executing at both the 30,000 foot level and boots on the ground; you are comfortable at and know when to be at both of these levels.
Problem solving: Systems thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data and driving recommendations and decisions rooted in qualitative and quantitative data with an astonishing attention to detail.
Fast learner: Track record of quickly learning and leveraging various pieces of software, third-party vendors, and other resources to get the job done. You thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with limited guidance while handling several deadlines simultaneously.
Ownership mindset: Self-starter, low ego attitude, willing to roll up your sleeves and sweat the details, and have an incredible ownership mentality to get the job done.
Communication: Incredible communications and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams. Phenomenal presentation skills that can distill a firehose of information into a cohesive story, whether it be in an email, memo/doc, spreadsheet, or a deck.
Leadership: You want to help shape the culture of the company and help us to build and scale a best-in-class team. You have the ability to hold others accountable and provide direct, constructive feedback, no matter their seniority in the company.
