As we scale, we're looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and help shape our financial future.

The Role
We’re seeking a CFO with at least 5 years of financial leadership experience, ideally in tech or startup environments. This is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-driven company at a pivotal stage of growth. You’ll oversee all financial operations, drive fundraising efforts, support strategic decision-making, and ensure Seaquyl remains financially sound as we scale globally.

Responsibilities

Lead the company’s financial strategy, forecasting, and planning
Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic planning and growth initiatives
Build and manage a high-performing finance team
Manage investor relations and support capital raises (seed, Series A, etc.)
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial best practices
Implement scalable financial systems, processes, and KPIs

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance role (startup or tech company preferred)
Proven track record in fundraising, strategic finance, and managing financial operations
Strong understanding of SaaS or technology business models
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus
