The Deal Desk Analyst will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Pricing and Legal to define and document processes while also advising the Sales team. The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential attrition risks during the term of the contract and engaging with the customer and internal stakeholders to resolve the underlying issue, optimize the financial outcome, maintain forecasts, and drive customer satisfaction while adhering to all SOCi's polices.

You will partner with Deal Operations team on policy and process, as well as balancing customer and SOCi's needs. You will be a proactive partner to the Sales and Success organization on key upcoming deals, and be the voice of Sales and Success back to the Sales operations team on needs and proposed updates to policy

Responsibilities:

Serves as the trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure and quoting, advises the team on alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closure
Monitors the Deal Ops Slack channel to provide general assistance and advice on common deal questions and Quote to Cash process questions
Monitors the Deal Ops case queue in Salesforce, consistently maintaining case SLAs
Partners cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and other operations teams to accelerate quoting process through operational efficiencies
Collaborates with stakeholders to identify solutions for common Quote to Cash errors.
Leads regular trainings and office hours for Sales
Contributes to Quote to Cash process automation and improvement
Provides exceptional internal customer service

Requirements:

Demonstrated familiarity with the Enterprise SaaS/B2B Industry - Deal Desk, Order Management, Finance Operations, Sales Operations or Pricing experience preferred
Basic understanding of revenue recognition rules
Highly organized, customer-focused, innovative and strong attention to details
Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks during times of high volume
Schedule flexibility during End of Month, End of Quarter
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage distractions
Strong quantitative skills and highly proficient in gSuite, Salesforce.com
Basic knowledge and understanding of a CPQ tool
Contribute positively to the team and overall SOCi culture
