St. John the Baptist Parish Schools is seeking a qualified Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage the district’s financial operations. The CFO will oversee departments including Accounting, Payroll, Purchasing, External Funding, Federal Programs, and Child Nutrition. This role is critical to ensuring fiscal responsibility and aligning financial strategies with the district’s educational mission.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
5–10 years of experience in financial management or accounting (public/education sector preferred)
Proven leadership and supervisory experience
Must earn LASBO certification within five years

Employment Details:

Reports to the Superintendent
12-month position
Salary Range: $102,090 - $120,000
