We are looking for a Director of Global Sales reporting to the Global Head of Sales. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the acquisition sales team (hunters) to acquire new clients in North America and EMEA. This role requires a seasoned leader who has excelled in leading a global sales team to ensure the achievement of our revenue targets.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Director of Global Sales to shape the existing sales organization and scale revenue to the next level.
This person must reside on the east coast of the US.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting a global sales strategy and building out a team of Sales (BDRs & Sale Executives) across enterprise and mid-market sales globally for the business.
The person should be excited by hiring, training, and onboarding sales teams across the US & EMEA territories.
This team will be responsible for new logo acquisition only. After two years, the accounts are handed off to a separate Global A ccount Management team led by another individual.
Analyze customer behavior, anticipate needs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Assume end-to-end responsibility for achieving revenue and profit targets.
Develop comprehensive business plans, budgets, and measurable sales management protocols.
Spearhead sales strategies, conduct funnel reviews, share insights, best practices, and consultative approaches with field teams.
Provide detailed sales forecasting, budgeting, and production interface.
Maintain an astute awareness of the marketplace, competition, activities, and industry trends.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners supporting the market.
Take charge of recruiting, nurturing, and motivating the organization.
Implement appropriate learning and developmental programs to ensure success.
Offer clear guidance on goals and objectives, consistently providing feedback and coaching.
Uphold the company’s core values and principles.
Report quality issues and defects to management promptly for corrective action, aligning with ethical guidelines.
Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
Work closely with sales operations.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Responsibilities may be adjusted or assigned as needed to meet business demands.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 10 years of sales management experience, including 5 years in EMEA sales leadership experience (not necessary to have lived in EMEA)
Understanding of selling strategies, employee motivation methods, and competitive market dynamics.
Strong familiarity with the company's systems, competitive landscape, and market trends.
Deep alignment with global customer needs, market trends, and competitive environment, fostering collaboration with marketing and operations.
Drives rigorous Salesforce.com enforcement .
Accomplished sales leader with a proven history of meeting/exceeding sales quotas in competitive markets.
Substantial experience in revenue growth through various “go-to-market” strategies.
Visionary leader who leads by example, serving as a role model.
Ability to interact with executives from medium to enterprise companies, adapting to different cultures and operating models.
Skill in translating strategic goals into actionable plans.
Assertive, persuasive, accountable, and confident in holding others accountable.
Creates a trust-based environment by acting with fairness, consistency, and commitment.
Preferred experience in selling both Software as a Service (SaaS) and Perpetual License software to enterprise accounts .
Must be East Coast based.
LIMS or Compliance Software experience is a significant plus .
Up to 50% travel to company and client sites within the is required.
