We're looking for a Supply Chain Planning Functional BI Analyst & Developer to work as a member of our Business Intelligence team to assist in achieving key strategic objectives to improve timely and actionable analytics to support business decisions.

This is a combined functional and technical role that requires both Supply Chain Planning functional experience and Power BI report development experience

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Clarify business objectives, capture requirements, assess, design and develop visualizations and analytical insights

Design, develop, improve, and support analytical and operational reporting and dashboards using Power BI

Influence and partner with data architect, business analysts, and functional experts to make data accessible and understandable to address business needs and address analytical questions

Build Power BI applications, visualizations, and paginated reports

Inspire others to leverage self-service reporting and analytic capabilities, including teaching and mentoring others to use Power BI Desktop and collaborate within Power BI Workspace

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience as a Functional BI Data Analyst & Developer

Ability to collect requirements, manage expectations, and influence key stakeholders, including front line leaders and subject matter experts

Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations.

Must be able to manage multiple work items at one time with a high sense of urgency.

Collaborate and communicate well with others; strong written and verbal communication

Bachelor's degree in technology discipline or equivalent experience

Technical Knowledge

Proven experience with Power BI desktop and paginated reports, workspaces, applications, DAX

Must have manufacturing or distribution industry experience, particularly with Supply Chain Planning function

Skilled with SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server environment

Must possess strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills

Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data translation concepts

Familiarity with Accounting and Sales Operations business functions a plus

Qlikview and Crystal Reports experienced a plus
