Business Operations Manager (Management FTE Position)

Summary

The Sudbury District Nurse Practitioner Clinics (SDNPC) are seeking a Business Operations Manager. The SDNPC is one of 27 NPLCs in Ontario funded by the government to provide primary care in communities across the province.

The Business Operations Manager’s primary role is to direct the effective administrative functions of the SDNPC. This position reports to and provides support to the Executive Director by ensuring that day to day financial affairs, personnel, administrative activities and facilities management are undertaken in a timely and professional manner.

Key Qualifications

Successful record of management at a senior level in the health care (public) sector (5 years experience preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, human resources or related field

Experience in processing payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and maintaining accurate accounting records for audit purposes

Experience in Human Resources

Ability to prioritize, manage time and work in a fast-paced environment

Have experience in facilities management

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in use of computer including email, excel, word and sage accounting

Ability to work independently and within a team

Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required

Access to personal vehicle with valid driver’s license

Role involves the following estimated time allotment:

Financial – 50%

HR – 25%

Facilities – 25%

NOTE: this is a full time, onsite position with travel expected between the three clinic locations. Anticipated start date is mid-August 2025.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
